Childminding Courses
Start your next course as a childminder, either completing the QCF Childcare Certificate or Childcare Diploma. As a leading childcare training provider, we can offer childminders a free, fully funded qualification nationwide*.
The Childcare Level 2 Certificate is suitable for those at, or near the beginning of their childminding career and want to learn the foundation skills involved in providing quality childcare.
The Childcare Level 3 Diploma is more suited to those who have already completed the Childcare Certificate and want to progress into a management or supervisory role.
The ultimate goal for the whole workforce is to achieve, as minimum, a level 3 qualification by 2015.

As an online course, the qualification can be completed in the comfort of your own home at a pace that suits you!
You will have access to e-learning tutorials and resources throughout your qualification so you can easily fit study around your work, social and family commitments.
Assessment is by workplace observation. Your assessor will visit your setting to monitor you carrying out practical tasks, answering questions and report writing. They will also be in regular contact to provide continued support and answer questions to help you stay motivated and on track.
Please note that we are only able to offer childminder courses to those over 18 years old.
