Alyson French

Hi my name is Alyson, an Assessor/Coach with Parenta Training.

I have enjoyed working with Parenta since April 2010, and find it rewarding helping learners to achieve a childcare qualification…

The thought of completing an NVQ level 3 in 7 months was very dauting when i initially started however it was acheived with support. I was always kept aware of what my next step was on the course by Alison and on hind sight should have used professional discussion as an option given, rather than written work. All the best for the future.

I found Alyson to be a really sympathetic, empathetic, committed, adaptable and friendly tutor, whom balanced the professional approach with personal approach excellently. I always felt comfortable in her presence and although I hate being watched and examined in what I am doing at any time(!) I was generally at ease with her. She was adaptable with my colleagues whom she coached and supported throughout and although with our different personalities, she related to all of us really well. Thank you Alyson, I feel that without your support things could have been alot more difficult. :0)

A professional yet approachable tutor who without doubt kept my enthusiasm throughout my course. Juggling my two jobs and childcare at times made me think ‘why bother’ yet Alyson always had a motivational answer!

Just completed my level 3 NVQ. It has been hard going at times but Alyson has always been encouraging and has given me the confidence I needed.
I have found Alyson friendly and approachable, Alyson put me at ease even when she was watching what I was doing ( this was very hard for me as I am not at all confident in my ability) Big thanks Alyson.
